About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Door Attendant to join our prestigious client in the hospitality industry. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Welcoming and greeting all guests entering and leaving the hotel entrance, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Opening car doors for all guests arriving or departing from the main entrance, greeting them with a polite and friendly demeanor.
- Coordinating with bell attendants to remove luggage and parcels from guest vehicles and arrange delivery to their rooms.
- Managing the safe storage of luggage in the storeroom, ensuring it is always clean and tidy.
- Hailing taxis for guests, opening taxi doors, and assisting them in seating to provide the necessary assistance.
- Receiving incoming packages, letters, and documents for guests, recording their acceptance and arranging timely delivery to the recipients.
- Acting as the first point of contact for security matters, assisting guests checking in, and minimizing security risks.
- Performing related tasks and duties as assigned by management.
- Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Adhering to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to deliver exceptional service in line with our client's standards.
- Following all relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures and instructions.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following experience and qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying hours.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking and standing, often under direct sunlight.
